8th Grade Matriculation Form (2026-2027)
Planning for the 2026-2027 school year is underway. All students at Muirlands will be scheduled in English, History, Math, Science,  Physical Education, and an elective class (students needing support may be enrolled in an intervention class).

8th Grade students have the option to choose an elective. Course availability will depend upon student interest and staffing. Electives will be accommodated on a space available basis.

Please mark 1, 2, 3, and 4 next to your top choices according to preference, with number 1 the elective wanted most. If you are choosing a foreign language course as an elective, we STRONGLY RECOMMEND a 3.0 grade point average. We will make every effort to accommodate preferences in priority order. Students are NOT guaranteed their 1st choice. Failure to comply with the instructions to fill out the Matriculation Form will result in placement by the school staff.
