Proficiency-based Opportunities to Learn for Parents/Guardians
The purpose of this survey is to gain an understanding of the types of future opportunities that would be most helpful to parents/guardians related to proficiency-based grading and reporting for grades 5-9.
1. My child(ren) is/are currently in grade(s):
2. A Fall parent/guardian conference (15 minutes) with my child's team of teachers to understand how he/she is progressing.
3. A Spring parent/guardian conference (15 minutes) with my child's team of teachers to understand how he/she is progressing.
4. A comprehensive Core Teaching Team presentation that explains procedures and practices for work flow, assessing work, and communicating with parents.
5. More frequent progress reporting, with 2 formal reports mailed home mid-year and end of year, and 2 informal ones given to students in the Fall and Spring.
6. Coffee Hours with the Principals
