I hereby acknowledge my commitment to comply with the following policies while I am being interviewed for a co-op employment cycle (in person or virtually)

If scheduled for an interview, I will: *

1. Arrive/sign in at least ten minutes before the scheduled interview.

2. Be dressed appropriately: if in doubt, err on the side of conservative attire.

3. Be polite and let the interviewer begin the conversation.

4. Be relaxed, make frequent eye contact, and answer questions completely and concisely.

5. Do not ramble or digress when outlining your skills and accomplishments.

6. Be a good listener.

7. Make sure I have a copy of my resume. Also, I will bring a pen and notebook to take notes.

8. Always maintain a positive outlook and display interest in the position I am applying for.

9. Make sure I get your best talking points in during the interview as a natural outgrowth of my responses.

10. Be polite and positive at end of the interview and follow up with a thank-you note/email.

11. Ask for each person's email with whom I interview.

12. Make sure I send each of them a thank you email within 24 hours.

13. If I receive an offer, respond back within one week with whether I accept or decline.

14. If I accept, I cannot continue to interview to see if I get a better offer from another company.

15. If I accept an offer but at a later date I decline it, I will not be able to remain in the co-op option.
