Sky School Curriculum Hackathons are weekend long rapid curriculum development events. At this hackathon we will be developing a module that will focus on ways in which Sky School students can apply key mathematical concepts within their communities and create change.
We are looking to form a strong team of 8-12 individuals who between them will have the following profiles:
* Educators with experience of teaching mathematics at secondary education level* Educators with experience of designing curriculum for mathematics* Educators with experience of social enterprise and/or applied mathematics* Educators with experience of working with refugee learners * Educators who have experience with and/or want to learn how to use concept-based teaching and learning to design curriculum* Educators with expertise in teaching English as an Additional Language (EAL)* Young people aged 16-30 who have experience of migration or displacement
