Violence in Boston is excited to have a Social Impact Team. The goal of the Social Impact Team is to fill the gaps in services and connect the Community to REAL Resources that work!

Back Pack 68 Program- Working to serve the 3,000 homeless young people in BPS
Safety Transportation- Volunteering to transport children who navigate violence plagued neighborhoods. We will be seeking Van donations
Be a Presence- at Schools when children are arriving and departing to ensure safety.
Parental Support Team
Supporting Parents who are dealing with and raising children in communities plagued with violence.
Volunteers will sign up for shifts and we will walk through communities offering resources while being a presence.
Social Media Team
Monitoring Social Media identifying young people or families that may need assistance.
Identify families or young people within the Community that are in need of assistance
Legal/Law Enforcement Team
Advocate for young people and their families who are on caseload who may be criminally involved. Supporting them while attending Court Dates.
Assisting those individuals coming home or being released from incarceration and ensuring they have the necessary supports and resources to thrive.
Locating Employers CORI friendly and assisting individuals with Life Skills and Resume building.
Connecting Young People and Families to opportunities for Healing (Sessions, Circles etc.)
