Describe a research project in which you have or will use fluorescent proteins to answer an important biological question or to develop new research tools. Research projects that demonstrate creative use of fluorescent proteins to answer a well defined question will be judged more favorably. Please be specific about the experiments you will or have conducted as well as their potential significance.

Letter of Support (200 words or less)
A letter of support from your primary advisor that indicates your advisor’s support for your project and substantiates the impact of fluorescent proteins on your work must be sent to us from your advisor. Advisors should email awards@addgene.org with “Davidson & Tsien Travel Award Reference” and your last name as the subject title. Advisors must send their letter of support by February 15, 2019.
