Discover Economics at University of Liverpool
Join us for our Discover Economics Day for the young people of the North West hosted at the University of Liverpool in conjunction with Discover Economics, Manchester Metropolitan University and the Academy of Social Sciences.

This event will include a series of activities led by speakers from a range of backgrounds, including current economics students. It is designed to give young people a better understanding of economics through presenting illustrative applications of economics in a range of contexts and introducing the careers of professional economists. Students will have the opportunity to learn more about how to enter the Royal Economic Society, Young Economist of the Year competition, sponsored by KPMG. The competition aims to encourage students to produce their own ideas in analysing contemporary economic problems facing the UK and the world.
