Why are you interested in volunteering with ILAP?
How to Get Involved
ILAP is strengthened by volunteers who offer their skills and experience in order to help us further our mission. We have four central ways that volunteers assist our team:

Language Support
Office Support
Program Support
Independent Projects

Please complete each section below that applies to your area of interest.

B) Office Volunteers
Volunteers are matched with staff when their interest and expertise align with projects and administrative duties.

C) Program Volunteers
Program volunteers fall into two categories:

Forms and Intake volunteers: Volunteers do not need a legal background. However, these roles require a great deal of training for ILAP staff and as such, those interested should be able to make a long-term commitment.

Pro Bono Attorneys:  Pro bono attorneys are lawyers who are interested in working with ILAP asylum staff to represent a client.
D) Independent Project Volunteers
ILAP is always looking for individuals to amplify and share the importance of our mission.
