Join us for Freedom Tours Wageningen's new interactive walking tour co-created by local residents from diverse cultural and generational backgrounds. 

Together, we explore what freedom means through the lenses of gender and sexuality. As we journey through familiar streets and lesser-known stories, we reflect on who has access to freedom—and who doesn’t—in public space, in relationships, and in society. 

The tour invites open, respectful dialogue and encourages participants to consider how personal experiences, social norms, and policies shape our understanding of identity, belonging, and liberation. Whether you’re a long-time ally, a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, or simply curious, this tour offers a welcoming space for learning and connection. 

Come walk with us and be part of reimagining freedom in Wageningen—for everyone.

Note: We have 1 free tour (10:30-12:30) on Saturday, 13 December 2025. Please be at the starting point 10 minutes before the tour begins (10:20).

Starting point: To be shared by email with registered tour participants.

Good to know: Please wear walking shoes and clothing suited to the weather, and bring a bottle of water in case you get thirsty along the way. Public toilets can be found near the starting point at De BBLTHK (Stationsstraat 2, 6701 AM Wageningen).
