We recognize the need for boys coming out of 8th Grade to be productively preoccupied during the long summer. We try to provide a fun and Torahdik experience, with special staff trips and events.

However, Camp Achdus and its staff's primary role is to cater to our campers, therefore we cannot guarantee any staff position. (We have found that many boys coming out of 8th Grade can only function as effective staff members for half the summer.)

Additionally, we are expending resources (money, time, energy, mental capacity) for every additional staff member. We also bear the responsibility of all actions and safety of our staff members.

Therefore, we reserve the right to charge all parents of boys coming out of 8th Grade up to $100 a week. This has no bearing on the pay that our staff members receive. (In other words, we charge parents of boys coming out of 8th Grade $100 a week. The boys get paid based on our pay schedule: $50/week for a first time Achdus member and $60/week a previous Achdus member.)
