Illinois Lutheran BBQ Smoke Off

When: Sunday, October 26 @ 3-5 p.m.

Where: Illinois Lutheran Elementary School, 448 Cass Street. Smoke Off will be held in the Trinity Church Fellowship Hall

Smoke Off Participants: Participants must cook their meat at home prior to the event, and bring it in a crockpot or Nesco Roaster to keep it at the desired temperature. Set up will be in the Trinity Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall. All participants must be set up at 2:45 p.m. for judging.

Participants are welcome to cook any type of Meat, but it must be smoked, using either a manual or electric smokers. Sample containers and forks will be provided. Judging will be based on appearance, taste, moisture, tenderness and overall impression.

The winner will receive a $75 Amazon Gift Card.
