Cosponsor Request Application
The Research Center for the Americas (RCA) at UC Santa Cruz welcomes cosponsorship requests for events that align with the RCA’s mission and research interests. Funds may be used to offset the cost of conferences, workshops, and invited guest speakers. Requests for support should complete this form that includes a brief description of the event, how the event aligns with the RCA’s mission and research interests, a working budget (with a list of any other sources of support), and requested amount.

All requests must be submitted online. If you receive funds, you are expected to acknowledge the cosponsorship of the Research Center for the Americas and should send event promotional materials to the RCA at least 2 weeks before the event so that we can advertise on our website and social media channels (email: rca@ucsc.edu or Mail Stop: Merrill Faculty Services).

PLEASE NOTE THAT ANY UNSPENT COSPONSORHIPS FUNDS SHOULD BE RETURNED TO THE RCA.

Please note most cosponsorship financial support averages about $100, though there have been exceptions where greater support has been warranted given the event proposed. Please note we receive far more cosponsorship requests than we are able to support.
