MHT Kerygma Encounter
The word “kerygma” is Greek for “the gospel” or “the good news.” Kerygma Encounter is a day spent with our loving God; Father, Son, and Spirit. The focus of this retreat is to bring you to a new encounter, both in mind and heart, with Jesus Christ, in the power of the Holy Spirit, drawing closer into the heart of the Father.
Kerygma Encounter consists of several components; opportunities for quiet listening, assent, healing, and rejoicing. You will hear the essential Gospel of Jesus Christ proclaimed in brief but compelling talks, times of direct and private conversations with the Lord, Eucharistic Adoration, powerful community prayer, and sharing encouragement and joy with each other in quiet conversation.
There are two dates for the Kerygma Encounter this year:
Saturday, November 13th (2021), 8:30am-3:30pm in the Activity Center
Saturday, March 12th (2022), 8:30am-3:30pm in the Activity Center
There's no cost, only a freewill offering at lunch. Please register so we know how much food to get (we will have coffee and light refreshments in the morning and lunch).
