In order to give back to the community, Loyola University Chicago’s Muslim Students’ Association organizes a Fast-A-Thon in conjunction with Loyola’s Hunger Week in order to raise money for local, national, and global beneficiaries that focus on hunger relief.
All proceeds of this year's Hunger Week (determined by Loyola University Chicago) will be going to:
1) Local: The Greater Chicago Food Depository is a food distribution and training center providing food for hungry people while striving to end hunger in our community. www.chicagosfoodbank.org
2) National: Share our Strength (SOS) is a national organization that works hard to make sure no kid in America grows up hungry. www.strength.org
3) Global: Action Against Hunger is part of the ACF International Network, an agency established specifically to combat global hunger. www.actionagainsthunger.org
