A Hangout is an informal gathering of peers working on individual projects in company with each other. The focus in a Hangout is not on instruction, but on socializing and idea exchange. The Host is expected to be the primary contact and is responsible for scheduling, setup and clean up.

(A series indicates that participants should expect an ongoing social opportunity over multiple meetings.  Individual sessions are more like pop-up events and participants will attend hangouts as single events.  For example, a hangout could meet every Wednesday for 3 weeks with the same participants for a single registration fee.  Alternatively, participants could enroll in separate hangouts paying for one hangout  at a time, which means the participants change each hangout.)
