MI Driver's License Phone Bank Shift Sign-up
Thank you for your interest in calling our fellow Michiganders to demand during the lame duck session - asking them to sign the online petition, as well as contact their legislators and members of the Michigan House of Representatives Transportation Committee to support the Drive SAFE House Bills 5192 and 5193 and to move forward with granting a hearing to these bills before the end of the year. These bills are part of the Drive SAFE package (Senate Bills 0631/0632 and House Bills 5192/5193) and were introduced in 2019 and allow all Michiganders to access a state ID or driver's license with proof of identity and Michigan residency, regardless of citizenship status.
