“Colonel Mustard with the Revolver in the Study!” You proclaim.

Colonel Mustard’s face turns red.

“HOW DARE YOU!” He shouts. He goes to attack you but four officers hold him back and go to restrain him. “BODDY WAS LIKE A SON TO ME!”

You clear your throat and continue, “At the crime scene I managed to find suspicious evidence on everyone except for you Colonel Mustard. That lead me to suspect you and bring you to the top of my list.”

“I had nothing to hide.” Colonel Mustard says. “Unlike the rest of these fools here.”

“Wrong. According to a source extremely close to Boddy, You were going to be fired specifically due to your mismanagement of funds. You had debts that were recently wiped out. You framed an employee under you to take the fall for embezzlement , but Boddy found out the truth. That gives you motive.”

“But what of his alibi?” Mrs. Peacock asks. “Chief White and I both heard gunshots.”

Suddenly a popping sound like that of a gunshot goes off. Everyone goes to duck except for you and Dr. Orchid.

An officer pulls up in an old truck that makes the popping sound again.

“A car backfiring!” Dr. Orchid exclaims.

“Yes, the shots you heard were merely that of a truck backfiring. Colonel Mustard paid the owner of this vehicle to make sure it sounded so if anyone asked any questions he had an alibi. He even broke the bottles to make it look real, but he forgot about the lack of shell casings at the scene which led me to suspect him.”

You ask Sgt Wadeworth to search Colonel Mustard. He does and finds bank statements and account numbers that tie back to the embezzlement at Boddy’s company. All the accounts are in Colonel Mustard’s name.

“I didn’t mean to kill him, he just won’t see reason, he has so much money, I just need a little more to break even, his father always gave me some. Why couldn’t he?” Colonel Mustard cries.

“Take him and Mrs. Peacock away.” You say.

“What, me?!” Mrs. Peacock cries.

“For the murder of you last three husbands. Toxicology reports came back and we have a few questions about their now suspicious deaths.” You say.

“Take me as well!” Professor Plum cries much to the shock of everyone including you.

Professor Plum confesses that he planned to kill Boddy too, but Boddy had agreed to keep his secret about his fake discovery if Professor Plum secured funding for Dr. Orchid's research.

Professor Plum's confession leads you to discover Plum Labs had taken a hit on Boddy suspecting the Professor would fail to kill him, and Colonel Mustard took up that hit. This leads to Colonel Mustard going away for life.

Professor Plum avoids jail time by testifying at Colonel Mustard’s trial and against his family who own Plum Labs. Apparently there was a lot of shady stuff going down there. Professor Plum loses his academic career status, but he is happily teaching history at the middle school level and finds he actually enjoys it.

Mr. Green goes on to win a Pulitzer for his article on Boddy’s murder as well as launching your detective career into the spotlight. He and you become good friends and rely on each other for help in future cases.

Miss Scarlet still snags the role in the movie about Boddy’s mystery board game. It does surprisingly well leading to her becoming a star.

Chef White opens her restaurant, Boddy’s Best, to honor a man who believed in her dream. It instantly becomes a hip and trendy spot with amazing food.

Dr. Orchid discovers Boddy had planned on blackmailing everyone to have them make donations that would forever fund all projects her heart desired, since she wouldn’t take even a penny from him. He also planned on proposing, the whole purpose of this weekend. Dr. Orchid uses his fortune to set up grants to help people fund necessary research. You and her become book buddies always sharing the latest stories. You think it will take a while for her heart to heal.

You end up as a star detective with loads of fame and even offers to make movies about your life.
