Italy Starts (Spring session). JCU's peer-to-peer entrepreneurship mentoring program in English since 2018. Mentor a team as they create a Business Plan from idea to presentation!
You can also Mentor in one of the other programs, too. JCU also offers Italy Writes, Italy Pitches, and The Future of Work - How to Write a Successful CV and Techniques for Public Speaking.
All activities are in English.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Enrich your experience of inter-cultural collaboration, peer-to-peer team building and collaboration
- Meet people who might one day be colleagues in an international job!
- Receive a Certificate of Completion of the Volunteer Mentor Program to add to your international study profile. The time you dedicate to these programs can be recognized toward your Community Service Certificate.
WHAT WILL YOU NOT DO?- Speak with students in Italian. You'll be helping them improve their English and have their own international experience by getting to know you.
- Teach English or substitute their language teacher
- Regret the experience!
