To be considered for adoption you must:

-- Be at least 21 years of age
-- Provide government issued photo ID
-- Have the consent of all adults living in the household
-- Understand that Community Cat has the right to accept or deny any application and may request a home or video visit to verify satisfactory conditions for an adopted large bird. If you have little to no experience with large birds, do not expect to adopt a large bird.
-- Have all pets in the home seen regularly by a veterinarian and current to the standard of care for their species (vaccinated, spayed/neutered, annual wellness visits)
-- Have access to an avian veterinarian within reasonable distance

Larger birds have a long lifespan, often longer than their human caregivers.
