Spiritual Connection Groups Interest Form

The Spiritual Connection Group is a small Islamically centered group of people where we talk about how spirituality works in our lives. The group is member centered meaning there is no religious leader or hierarchy, we share our own experiences about our personal connection with Allah (SWT). We abide by group guidelines that aim to keep the space equitable, mutual and avoid judgement and shame.

Groups will begin with a spiritual topic and each person will have a 5 min allotment of time to share about their own experience on the topic. We keep our sharing related to our own experiences and avoid talking about or judging stories that aren't our own. All experiences hold meaning, no matter how much or little religious knowledge you have we speak about our own unique spiritual relationship with God.  And as a group, we respectfully listen in order to foster  spiritual, emotional, and relational meaning, ultimately helping us connect to our Creator and one another inshAllah. 

All are invited and welcome . These group sessions would be facilitated by our Resident Chaplain Usama Malik and community member Ceka Kitami.
