Hardy G*rls Healthy Wom*n Muse Application
Thank you for your interest in becoming a Hardy G*rls Muse! Muses are our volunteer facilitators that run our G*rls Coalition Groups (GCGs) in local elementary and middle schools. Any nonbinary or woman-identified student enrolled at Colby is welcome to apply, and no experience working with youth is required. Before beginning work in schools, you will receive training, be paired with a co-Muse, and pass a background check.

The GCGs are designed to develop critical thinking and scaffold girl-driven activism for middle school aged gender expansive youth and girls across the state of Maine. Groups run continuously for a full year, and the Muses are encouraged to participate for the duration, even through January if possible. Groups reach the highest level of impact when the g*rls and Muses are a consistent group.

Please note that attendance at a training is necessary to volunteer as a Muse. Trainings will be held at a date TBD during Jan Plan and the beginning of the Spring semester.
