It will include: Defining “who your game is” with regards to target demographic, business model, etc.; Overview of the ecosystem for digital sales; Understanding forecasting, budgeting, marketing, etc.; Maximizing revenue for both F2P and Premium titles.

This workshop will dig deep into the complexities of managing a company like a true business. It will cover the following key areas: strategy, planning, and tactics; vision and mission; organization; investment preparedness. We will also explore sources of funding, and when/why you would approach each. Finally, pitching tips will also be covered.
3. Design for Monetization in Free2Play GamesOctober 25, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
This workshop will cover core issues in free-to-play monetization, including: building monetization into the core of your game; what players spend on; IAP vs. Ads; pay to accelerate vs. pay to win; best practices for optimizing monetization.
4. Marketing and User Acquisition for Free2Play GamesOctober 25, 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Getting your app discovered is tough, especially considering studios are fighting for space in stores where Facebook and Google take the bulk of app downloads and attention.
