Call for Session Proposals
This year's Middle Neighborhoods convening will be held on Nov 13-14, 2018 in Cleveland, Ohio, and will be organized by The American Assembly, the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, Old Brooklyn Community Development Corporation, and Cleveland Neighborhood Progress.

Themed “Building Advocacy for Middle Neighborhoods,” this convening will bring together the growing movement of practitioners, policymakers, and researchers dedicated to stabilizing neighborhoods on the edge, and provide practical information on how to mobilize support to better serve these communities.

A Call for Session Proposals is being issued to help shape the overall agenda for the convening. The purpose of the call for session proposals is to figure out what you would like to learn AND what you would like to share with others at the conference.

The deadline to submit your proposal(s) using this form is Thursday, August 2, 2018.

SESSION FORMAT
Breakout sessions will take place over the course of the day on Wed, Nov 14. Each session will be an hour to an hour and a half long. Sessions may be proposed in the format of panel discussions, trainings, roundtables, plenary, or other. These could be sessions you would like to lead OR sessions you would like to participate in. Feel free to submit more than one idea!

All submissions will be circulated with a survey by Tues, Aug 7 to gauge the level of interest in each idea. This survey will help us learn as a group which plenary and breakout topics would be most beneficial so we can shape a solid agenda for the convening.
