Westview Oral Histories
Georgia State University (GSU) is working with the Westview Community Organization (WCO) to implement an Oral History Pilot Program in Westview. The pilot phase will not be broad in scope, but will seek to lay a foundation that the WCO and the community can build upon in the future.  The mission of this project is to preserve and share the stories of long-term Westview residents. The program will seek to collect oral histories, important documents, and other community ephemera, and invite residents to engage with these histories through a variety of media, in order to inspire future interest for historical work in the community. Any questions or comments can be directed to WCO Community Engagement Co-Chairs Candace Girod and Jake Carpenter at development@westviewatlanta.org
