NSF NCAR will be hosting a one-day workshop on
September 9 in Boulder, Colorado, focused on the solar physics and space weather aspects of Earth system predictability. This workshop is a follow up to the Earth system predictability across timescales workshop previously held on April 10-12 and intends to engage the many solar physics and space weather community members who were unable to attend the April event.
The goal of this workshop is to co-create a vision and plan for the solar physics and space weather aspects of the Earth system predictability across timescales roadmap. Participants will be involved in establishing key scientific questions; discussing needs for community modeling, analysis tools, and infrastructure to enable Earth system predictability research; and identifying partnership opportunities with the community.
If you are interested in attending, please fill out this form to help us plan accordingly. More information will be shared later this summer.
