BRIDGE Scholarship Application
Purpose: Black Resourceful Innovators Developing Generations of Excellence (BRIDGE) is a non-profit organization created as the centralized group for black professionals to bridge the generational gap of black leaders in our community. The BRIDGE Scholarship Fund is a way for the organization to financially support high school seniors in their endeavors to pursue higher education – an initiative that is mission driven. The amount of scholarship is $500. Scholarship funds are non-renewable and will only be applicable for the timeframe approved unless otherwise stated. An interview may be requested by the BRIDGE executive board to make a final decision.

Scholarship Eligibility:
• Student must be attending a high school within Tarrant County
• Student must be registered to attend an approved college or university at the time of scholarship selection
• Student must have at least a 3.0 high school g.p.a.
• Student must submit all required documentation by the application deadline to be considered
• Student must be in their final year of high school (Senior/12th grade)

Required Documentation:
• Fully completed scholarship application
• 150-200 word typed Personal Statement
• Official High School transcript(s)
• 2 letters of recommendation (one academic and one personal)
• College acceptance letter
