2016 Women in Science Wikipedia Edit-a-thon Registration

Monday, April 18, 2016 | 6:00PM-10:00PM | Kenan Science Library, UNC-CH

The UNC Women in Science and Engineering (UNC WISE) group and the Kenan Science Library Research Hub are collaborating to bring the Women in Science Wikipedia Edit-a-thon to the Carolina community.

Starting with an optional workshop to teach us how to edit Wikipedia, we will move into a fun night of music, food, and editing! There will be many tasks from beginning to advanced, so no need to feel intimidated. From improving the interconnectivity of pages to authoring full pages on women scientists, we are confident that you will be able to participate in a way that feels right to you. And with an open-house feel, we hope that you will come when you can, and stay for as long as you are able to stay!

*No Wikipedia experience necessary! No science background necessary!*
