Description: The Eagle County Schools Business Partner Request Form is the first step in participating in our district-wide career exploration programs, which include: 1.) Shadow Experience, 2.) Internship Experience, 3.)CareerWise Apprenticeship and 4). Employment.

The ECS Shadow Experience entails a 3-4 hour site visit at a business in which students will learn about what you do and its relationship to potential career opportunities.

The ECS Internship Program is a partnership between a local business and an 11/12th grade student for a semester internship. Students are required to participate in 40-60 hours of on-site visitation exploring specific tasks/work. Students will receive .5 Elective Internship Credit after completing their hours, journal reflection, and portfolio.

Employment opportunities can include summer jobs or part-time work during the school year in accordance with the Colorado Department of Labor regulations.

After completing this form, you will be contacted by an Eagle County Schools representative to share information about our programs and clarify questions you may have.
