UTS LSS Buddy Project 2026 Junior Buddy Application Form
At UTS, the LSS Buddy Project is one of the biggest student-run initiatives aimed at assisting students like YOU in transitioning smoothly and successfully into university life. Through this program, you will build valuable friendships, learn important law school tips and tricks, and set yourself up for a memorable few years. 

This program will see first year students paired up with an experienced senior student who acts as your senior buddy. Your Buddy can be anything from a study buddy, coffee mate, or a best friend. The program is what you make of it!

Throughout the year, the LSS will be hosting various events for you to attend (with or without your buddy), connect with other first-year and older students, and to get to know your buddy better and build inter- and intra-cohort bonds that will last!

Also, to encourage creativity and stepping out of comfort zones, we will be awarding prizes for creative hangouts outside of society events! More details on these will be out soon.

In submitting this application, I agree, if selected to be a Junior Buddy in the Buddy Project, to participate in the program to the best of my ability. This includes being punctual for meet-ups, accepting the responsibility of initiating contact with my Buddy, and acting at all times in a friendly and courteous manner. I acknowledge that a failure to participate as a First-Year Buddy in the program to the satisfaction of the Vice-President (Education) of the UTS Law Students’ Society can result in my disqualification from the program.                                                                        
Please note that our events will be photographed.  If you do not want to be photographed, please let the photographer know and avoid being in photographs. However, by registering for the Program and attending the Launch you recognise that there is a risk that you will be photographed. In the event that you are in published photos, you are welcome to message the LSS for any images to be taken down.
