A entrepreneurship oriented workshop which will provide hands on learnings & tools for the student community to understand what it takes to be in the Design industry. And in the other half, it also helps aspiring entrepreneurs to decide if they have it in them and how to validate they have an idea that can take off & tools for the same. Both these concepts are lucidly explained with activities & hands-on activites for experiential learning
Facilitators:Prof. Shamit Shrivastav
Shamit Shrivastav is an Associate Professor of Practice and the HoD School of Design, Art & Performance at the FLAME University, Pune, India. He has thirteen years of industry experience and seven years of experience in academia. Shamit has led Business Innovation and Product Design projects during his tenure with leading OEMs such as Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, Cummins Technologies India Pvt. Ltd., and Bajaj Electricals. Ltd. He is currently pursuing doctoral research at the Department of Design, IIT Delhi, and has obtained a Master's degree in Design from IISc Bangalore, and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Pune University. Shamit's areas of interest include product strategy, design thinking, service design, and business model innovation.
