🌈 About the Immigrant Emerging Leadership Program (IELP)

Are you a Transgender, Gender Diverse, or LGBTQIA+ immigrant or asylee looking to strengthen your leadership, employment readiness, and advocacy skills?
The Immigrant Emerging Leadership Program (IELP) by ParivarBayArea is a 10-week fellowship designed to empower and uplift gender-diverse and LGBTQIA+ immigrants and asylees in California.

💡 What You’ll Gain:

✅ Workplace Readiness & Career Development – Resume building, job search strategies, interview preparation, and networking
✅ Leadership & Advocacy Training – Public speaking, community organizing, civic engagement, and workplace self-advocacy
✅ Financial & Professional Empowerment – Budgeting, financial literacy, small business creation, and nonprofit fundraising
✅ Mentorship & Community Building – Coaching from experienced leaders and connection to a strong peer network
✅ $1,500 Stipend upon successful completion and project presentation 🎓

🗓 Program Details:

🔹 Sessions: 2 hours per week (English on Tuesdays, Spanish on Thursdays)
🔹 Duration: 10 weeks per cohort + Graduation
🔹 Final Project: Project presentation aligned with leadership and career goals
