📢 CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: Join the Immigrant Emerging Leadership Program (IELP)! 🌍🏳️🌈UPDATE (2025 Impact & 2026 Launch)
✨ In 2025, IELP successfully delivered four full cohorts (English & Spanish) and graduated 87 participants across California.
Those cohorts supported immigrant and asylee leaders through structured workforce training, leadership development, financial literacy education, networking support, and stipend-based completion incentives.
✨ Spring Cohorts #1 and #2 (English & Spanish) were completed.
✨ Fall Cohorts #3 (English) and #4 (Spanish) are now closed.
Although all 2025 cohorts have concluded, Parivar Bay Area continues to accept applications as we prepare for the 2026 Immigrant Emerging Leadership Program cohort.
🌟 2026 Program Update
Due to funding limitations, IELP is temporarily consolidating from four annual cohorts to one strong annual cohort in 2026.
This shift allows us to:
✔ Protect program quality
✔ Sustain stipend support
✔ Strengthen accountability
✔ Improve outcome tracking
✔ Ensure long-term program stability
The program remains one of the only structured workforce leadership fellowships in the state specifically designed for immigrant and asylee professionals under this model.
Applications are now open for consideration for the upcoming 2026 cohort.
