Gray and Black Water is anything that leaves a plumbing fixture and is considered sewage, which must be disposed of properly. We highly recommend or encourage all grey water and black water to be self-contained in related holding tanks and only emptied into sewage disposal systems that are permitted by a wastewater management facility. Do not empty gray or black water into someone’s private septic system. It could cause a hydraulic overload and could cause failure.

Recommendation for property owners: Provide Port-a-pots to limit RV usage. Monitor your property for compliance with campers that may discharge onto the ground. At the end of the process, the property owner is the responsible party, and if the aftermath creates violations, they would be responsible for proper clean-up.
