This survey has been designed by the American Farm Bureau Federation to gather state and member level data regarding the persistent drought conditions across the west. This is the second iteration of this survey.

The survey is divided into three sections: crops, livestock, and general water access. Each question refers to a general issue farmers and ranchers may be experiencing as a result of the drought. Using the range of 0 (not at all prevalent) to 5 (extremely prevalent) please select how prevalent each issue is in your area based on current member outreach and or personal knowledge. Please provide extra commentary and any other further data (quantitative or qualitative) in the comments sections provided. All questions are optional and can be left blank if not relevant to the participant.
