CVA Student Agreement

Please complete this required agreement as a student of Centralia Virtual Academy (CVA). As a student of the CVA I understand that my responsibilities as a student include, but are not limited to what is listed below. Parents of younger students please talk about the items in this agreement.

I agree to:

--complete learning in a distraction free environment with a charged device;
--attend all scheduled Zoom sessions with my teacher with camera on unless otherwise directed;
--complete all required assignments, quizzes, and tests by the assigned due date;
--communicate with my teacher regularly via email/Zoom/phone/Canvas.
--use my school email when communicating with teacher and other faculty;
--communicate tech issues immediately to my teacher;
--be the only user of my assigned district device;
--not use other browsers or have tabs open while a teacher is teaching or during any synchronous instructional time;
--and understand that the student schedule can be changed to ensure the best virtual environment;
--follow all the rules, laws, expectations, and responsibilities from student handbook;
--attend monthly review with your teacher/advisor as required by the state;
--be respectful of others and not distract others from their work.
