The Healthy Lifestyles Committee is happy to announce sign-ups for the 2023 SCES Advanced Run Club!
Advanced Run Club is open to 4th and 5th grade students and will run for 4 weeks. Each week, students will focus on running skills, endurance, stretching, and overall encouragement of staying active and making healthy lifestyle choices.
Advanced Run Club will meet at the track next to the school from 8:00 - 8:45 am on the following Thursdays:
- THURSDAY OCT 26 @ 8 am
- THURSDAY NOV 2 @ 8 am
- THURSDAY NOV 9 @ 8 am
- THURSDAY NOV 16 @ 8 am

This year, to further support the PTA and advancements in Healthy Lifestyles Committee, we are asking for a $5 donation from all participants.
Or send in an envelope with your student’s name and amount written on the front and have your student turn it in at the first Advance Run Club meeting.

Please note:
The regular Run Club series for ALL students will resume in the Spring!
For any students who have safety patrol and want to participate in this series, you will simply need to leave the club early for your duties.
You can use this link to register as a volunteer in Wake County Schools. If you are looking to help out at ANY Swift Creek or PTA event, you will need to be registered. This year, you can sign up at home, and it only takes a day or two to be processed.
