Translanguaging in Adult ESOL Classrooms with Refugee and Migrant Learners in the UK
This online survey is created to inquire into the attitudes, beliefs and classroom experience of ESOL teachers in the UK with applying translanguaging practices to teach refugee and migrant learners.

Translanguaging allows the learners to communicate with each other in their first languages/other languages they speak during lesson activities in English classes.

This study is interested in finding out if you, as a qualified and experienced ESOL teacher think that this approach to teaching English is effective in the ESOL adult classes with refugee and migrant learners that you teach.

Ideas you express will be used only for research purposes, to find practical ways of managing linguistic and cultural diversity in ESOL classes in the UK. This research aims to create a list of classroom practices to share with the ESOL teachers in the UK and your contribution is highly valued. Your answers will be treated confidentially and the information you provide will be kept anonymous in any research outputs/publications.

The survey will take 10 minutes and can be completed at a time convenient to you.

Thank you for taking the time to participate in this survey. Your help is very much appreciated.
