Program Guidlines
Back 2 School Illinois (B2SI) believes education is the key to America's future, and this program will provide classroom supplies in order to help each child in the winning school to be successful.
What is the mission of Back 2 School Illinois (B2SI)?
The mission of Back 2 School Illinois is to create and support educational opportunities that enrich the lives of Illinois children.
What Kind of Program is B2SI Offering?
B2SI will award school supplies to each enrolled child in a school. Each child will receive a box (kit) of school supplies - up to 1,500 individual boxes (kits), which are age appropriate to the individual student.
Who Can Apply For The Program?
Anyone can submit an application on behalf of a Chicago school such as parents, students, faculty, and community members. The B2SI "Win School Supplies for an Entire School" Program is open to any Chicago school with students from pre-Kindergarten up through high school.
Who is not eligible?
The B2SI "Win School Supplies for an Entire School" Program is not accepting applications from any B2SI Board member, employees or contracted workers for the nonprofit, as well as anyone living in their households and their spouses, children or grandparents.
What's the Process?
1. Complete the entire application.
2. Application must be submitted by July 24, 2019
3. Winning school will be selected by the Education Director and the B2SI selection committee.
4. Only the winning school will be notified by mail or phone.
5. School Supplies (kits) will be distributed on the first day or first week of school of the fall term.

2. Submit your application by July 24, 2019 to be considered.
3. Recipients will be notified by August 7, 2019
