The National #PPiMH Children & Young People's MH (CYPMH) Awards 2020 - Individual Awards

There are two awards for individuals, and eight awards for teams/services/projects which can be entered on a separate form.

The Awards are supported by Breakthrough MH, #PPiMH Collaborative, NHS England, Oxford Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and Healios.

The Awards Ceremony will take place at Oxford United Football Club in Oxford on Friday 26th June 2020. Prior to the Awards Ceremony on the 26th, there will be a positive practice shared learning event.

Please keep your answers to no more than 400 words each. Closing date for nominations is April 17th.

1) Champion of the Year  - Individual Award

This award recognises a young person who has made exemplary efforts, possibly under difficult circumstances, to support and enable others to lead more fulfilling life or lives. For the individual child or young person that has made a positive contribution to their community or others  through activities such as campaigning or volunteering.  The child/young person must be nominated by an adult either from their school, health or social care provider/charity/community group.


2) Shining Star - Staff Individual Award
This award recognises an individual member of staff who has gone above and beyond to provide care for the young people they are looking after.  This staff member may work for a health, social care, third sector organisation or an educational establishment.  Feedback from young people or carers/parents would be considered helpful.  The staff member can be self-nominated or nominated by the school, health, social care  or third sector provider.
