Share Your Story
You’ve read the stories. You’ve browsed the Education Station. Now, you want to help… but how?
First of all, thank you for your contribution! A shared experience is worth more than a monetary donation to the Shoulder To Lean On Project, so you will take part in something vital to our mission.

If you are comfortable, you may write about your loved one’s diagnosis, their treatment, and how you felt during this time/how you coped with it. Always keep in mind that a short, heartfelt message is worth so much more than something drawn-out. If you can only put your heart into three paragraphs, so be it!

Sharing your story is as simple as 1, 2, and 3.

1. Write your submission.
2. Complete the following questionnaire, filling in as much of the information as you are comfortable with.
3. Submit!

It will take a few days for your story to appear on the STLO Project's page, as editing staff may need to revise/alter it for clarity -- or your safety, which the STLO Project takes very seriously. Once your page on the site has been created, however, congrats! You are now part of something one-of-a-kind, and we thank you for being courageous. From now on, you will be the "shoulder to lean on" of someone you may have never even met.
