MAISS Internship Application Winter 2022
The MAISS Internship Program is a unique opportunity to learn how MAISS operates and provides students interested in business and technology with relevant leadership experience. During Winter Quarter, interns will shadow a MAISS Board Member to learn about their specific role. Additionally, interns will help plan and host MAISS events throughout Winter Quarter.

Board Positions to Shadow:

VP of Community Development: Runs the MAISS Mentorship Program, plans social events involving our board, mentees + mentors, and general members.

VP of External Affairs: Reaches out to companies and other campus orgs to host events, including company recruitment events, networking panels, and more.

VP of Finance: Responsible for all matters related to money, including funding events, fundraising from various sources, and more.

VP of Marketing: Creates all graphics + promo material for events and coordinates marketing campaigns across our social media accounts.

VP of Professional Development: Runs workshops that develop MAISS members professionally. Topics include: technical recruiting, SQL, iOS Development, and more.

Additionally, all interns will take part in our Professional Development Program. Interns will be mentored by their corresponding board member(s) to establish a professional brand, plan a personal recruiting strategy, and define a career roadmap. Our Executive VP and President will also teach interns more professional skills!

The estimated time commitment for this internship is approximately 4-5 hours per week. All years and majors are welcome (we only ask that you have an interest in business + technology)! Applications close on Sunday, November 19, at 11:59 PM PST.
