This contest is open to ABA (Amateur Beekeepers Association of NSW Inc) members who love to find practical solutions to beekeeping dilemmas or simply a better way to carry out regular beekeeping tasks. If that sounds like you, we invite you to enter our 2019 Best Invention contest.

The invention must be your own idea, have been developed by you, and not be currently commercially available. Adaptations of a current process or generic piece of equipment are permitted. Entries that contain trademark protected equipment or other people's intellectual property are not permitted.

The ABA is not responsible for any loss or damage incurred while the entries are on display or under our supervision.

The ABA is not responsible for introducing entrants to a commercial manufacturer and cannot provide development, marketing or any other related advice.

One entry per member. You must be a financial ABA member to enter.

Entry forms and digital images must be received by 5pm on May 31, 2019. Finalists will be contacted by June 1 and their inventions must be available to be displayed during the ABA 2019 Conference on June 7 at Western Sydney University Hawkesbury Campus. Winners will be determined by a panel of judges and by popular vote and announced at the Gala Dinner during the evening of June 7.
