Lecture by Chung Eui-yong: Korea: Current Geopolitical Challenges

we are pleased to invite you to a lecture by former Minister of Freign Affairs of the Republic of Korea Chung Eui-yong titled “Korea: Current Geopolitical Challenges”. The discussion will be moderated by Jan Zahradil, Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Center for Asia-Pacific Studies (CAPS).

Mr. Chung Eui-yong is a senior Korean diplomat and politician who played a key role in shaping Seoul’s foreign policy and inter-Korean relations. He previously served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea (2021–2022) and as the Director of National Security (2017–2020), as well as Ambassador to the United Nations.

The lecture will address the current geopolitical dynamics on the Korean Peninsula and their implications for the wider Indo-Pacific region.
