Lightning Talks offer our community members a chance to take the stage at GopherCon! Whether it's a personal project, a company announcement, or a hobby you want to tell others about, the Lightning Talks are a great opportunity to get the word out in seven minutes or less.
So if you are planning to join us in Seattle for the conference and have something interesting to share with the community, the proposal process will be open Monday, June 1st - Monday, June 22nd.
What Every Gopher Needs to Know:- Lightning Talks will take place on Wednesday, August 5th and Thursday, August 6th (please refer to the agenda). If you submit and are selected, you need to be prepared to speak on the day you are assigned. Selected speakers will be informed and assigned the week of June 29th.
- A submission does not guarantee selection.
- Product marketing talks will be automatically eliminated.
- Submission will not be accepted after Monday, June 22nd at 10:00 p.m. Mountain Time. No exceptions.
- Only submissions from registered attendees will be considered.
- International submissions must have a B1/B2 visa secured, if applicable.
- Selected speakers do not receive compensation or benefits (i.e. conference pass, travel, and accommodations), just the glory of taking the stage at everyone's favorite Go Community conference!
