School Grants are open to all schools and can be used for school activities, such as bike breakfasts, led bike rides, volunteer-led skills sessions, etc. Local government or P&C members can apply on behalf of their local school.
Events must actively encourage people to cycle and support new or novice riders.
Grants of $200 are available from the Department of Transport to host Bike Week 2018 events, from a total funding pot of $38,000.
The closing date for Bike Week 2018 grant applications is 5pm Friday 2 November 2018.
Please read the Bike Week 2018 Grant Guidelines before completing this form. The guidelines are available on the www.bikeweek.com.au website.
Please note: Your event does not have to achieve all of the objectives.
Through the Your Move website, you will be able to access a range of resources and complete your grant acquittal by posting a story. All stories posted on the website earn your school points that can then be spent on bike skills sessions, merchandise, bike storage facilities and more.
Successful applicants will be notified January 2019.
