The IBDLP Programme or "Basin" as it is popularly called, is a citizen-led programme that needs YOUR participation in order to transform lives, conserve the natural environment, and set Meghalaya on a path of inclusive and sustainable growth.
The easiest way to participate is by registering with the Meghalaya Basin Development Authority (MBDA) which runs the IBDLP Programme to become a Green Volunteer.
As a Green Volunteer, you can get involved in a number of activities under IBDLP. As an example of the incredible range of work you could be doing, consider this. You could be helping rural innovators set up renewable energy projects, working with rural entrepreneurs to run their farm-business and market their produce, leading initiatives in rural schools to set up organic kitchen gardens, or even helping us do GPS tracking of springs, rivers and forests across Meghalaya!
Each volunteering experience will allow you to develop your leadership potential, acquire a deep knowledge of development issues in the state and make a significant positive change to the people and state of Meghalaya.
All you have to do to get started is fill out the form below and press "Submit". Once we receive your application we will get in touch with you to understand your needs and goals and how best to involve you in the IBDLP Programme.
Thank you,
The IBDLP Team
