Here we have some basic information about being a volunteer for the next Fite Qlub Play Party on Saturday 11 July at Akhnaton!
As an organisation run entirely by volunteers, Fite Qlub is built on the principle of collective responsibility: taking care of one another, supporting and showing up for each other. Volunteering with us is not just about helping to run events, but about co-creating a culture of care and resilience.
Being part of the volunteer team means being embedded in a community where belonging, connection, resilience and solidarity are at the center. Volunteers play a vital role in shaping Fite Qlub as a space of joy, pleasure, and empowerment. In return, volunteering is also a way to experience Fite Qlub’s spirit from the inside: where collective effort turns into genuine connection, care and community.
Communication prior to the event and during the event will happen on WhatsApp-Group chat!
What do we expect from volunteers at the Fite Qlub Play Party?
- You will take a minimum of 1 shift
- Welcoming people when they enter the space
- Checking or selling tickets at the entrance
- Taking coats and bags
- Organizing the spaces/ cleaning up / getting things down
- Helping out when you see that help is needed in any area - we operate as a team!
