The Mitchell Rimlinger Performing Arts Scholarship recognizes a graduating senior student with a GPA of 3.0 or higher who has participated in a performing arts program during all four years at Mater Dei.

In a desire to support students at MDHS with demonstrated financial need, Mitchell’s family has established the following criteria:
* Demonstrate financial need (receiving aid at Mater Dei)
* Student in an MD performing arts program all 4 years
* GPA of 3.00 or higher
*Must be continuing in their education in the fall
* One-page essay describing how participation in performing arts has furthered your development at Mater Dei, how you have grown as a leader during your time here, and how you plan to use the talents and skills you have acquired to further your academic studies and your transition into a career
