Writing Funny Stories (Middle School)

Description: How do you write funny stories? Do you have to be a "funny" person to make people laugh with what you put on the page? In this workshop, we'll look at examples of humorous writing and break down the "science" of humor. We'll develop ways to write hilarious dialogue, laugh-out-loud plots, and memorable characters. Students can write fiction or non-fiction and will leave with at least one complete story.
