I understand that by joining the Dark Wood Farm Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, my farmers and I are entering into a relationship of shared risk and reward.  My membership entitles me to the bounty of the harvest this season, but I understand there is also the risk of certain crop failures due to uncontrollable conditions. *

All pick-ups this season will be once per month for 8 months at:

Dark Wood Farm
836 Shofstall Rd.
Brooksville, KY 41004

Pick-ups will be on Saturdays, 10am-5pm.

When paying for my share, I will have the option to choose my preferred set of pick-up dates.

CSA membership costs $400, and is due at enrollment.  

If you require a payment plan, we (your farmers) will work with you on a mutually-agreed upon option.

I agree to pick up my weekly CSA share at the farm on my designated dates, and understand that there will be no refund or credit for missed pick-ups. Out of courtesy to our family farm, please only gather your share within the designated pick-up time from 10am-5pm. *

Pre-planned vacations or missed weeks: I agree to make my own arrangements to have someone else pick up my share at the designated time during my planned absence -or- I will contact Annie at least two days in advance to have my share held in refrigeration for a pre-scheduled late pick-up date and time, but understand that produce quality cannot be guaranteed if I choose this option. *

I agree to meet with my farmers briefly during the first pick-up of the season for orientation. *

I am aware that hiking trails on the farm will be open during my designated pick-up date and time, and I am also aware that there are risks involved in hiking including injury, exposure to weather, exposure to domestic and wild animals, exposure to toxic plants, etc.  In consideration of my being permitted to access the hiking trails on private property, I release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Dark Wood Farm, its owners, and successors from any liability, claims, demands, and actions related to any loss, damage, sickness, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me, my minor children, and accompanying parties.  I further herby agree to hold harmless Dark Wood Farm, its owners, and successors from any loss, liability, damage, or costs, including court costs and attorney's fees, that may incur due to my participation in activities related to hiking on the farm. *
