Story Come to Bump!
The Walking Griot launches a FREE 8-week folklore theatre program for caribbean and youth of colour, ages 12 - 19, exploring the many artistic areas which makes up our afro-caribbean folklore culture while creating our own stories, sounds and movement reflecting our lives today.

The Walking Griot is a storytelling guild, initiated by Sashoya Shoya Oya, to continue the cultural traditions of afro-caribbean folklore in ways of storytelling through workshops, intergenerational programs, playwriting, theatre, performance, film and visual art.
